In Minneapolis on Tuesday, December 8, 1959, Dale wrote, “High 40° but windy. Dalene and I went downtown after work to buy her a new pair of shoes and Stan a Christmas present (shirt). Had supper at Grant’s and brought Helen hamburgers and pie home to her. Dinny went to Judy Corson’s at night to fold choir concert programs.”
