In Osceola on Sunday, November 12, 1950, Dale wrote, “Got breakfast & did dishes at folks. Brought cattle home from Forster’s pasture. Wrote letters to St. Paul, & Helen. Marie & Susan came at 10:15. I stayed up till midnight.” Mr. Forster owned the farm Williams and Jettie rented. Susan was the daughter of Ralph Kimmel and Marie, Dale’s sister.
